The toner cartridge is a bit expensive, but probably the printing support of about the same number of pages, the ink tanks, more than the same amount of material using an inkjet printing needs. This particular model prints only in black and white, which is a problem for some users. This is a multi-tasking machine. I had only a very limited use of the fax, copying and scanning up to the present day, but all performed well and were easy to implement. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. Love it! By Duraleigh I had several laser printers in the last 15 years or so. Always bought the HP brand. After burning with the HP last three (one problem or another way too early in the productive life of the printer), I decided it was time to try another brand. I had this Canon printer operational three days and was very pleased with my purchase now, I can change my review in six months or a year, but now I feel that my purchase was a very good decision. The print quality is high. The speed is quite acceptable. A little noise 'light, but I have on my desk right in the ear. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. It used to be tough, designed to be used by engineers for engineers. Unfortunately, now it is cheap junk. The scanners All-in-one HP seemed doomed to fail in the thirteenth month after purchase. Some of the latest HP printers do not even implement its own well-Printer Control Language (HP PCL). Brother printer works. It carries PCL5 correctly, and their emulation of PostScript. I have networked computers for 15 years, so it was easy to configure. The hardest part was pulling the CD-ROM to multiple computers on the network, because Windows does not have the driver built into a no-brainer. The sources work out to 1.4 cents per page (toner and drum). Hard to get over it. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful. This printer (and its predecessor) are the ones that our company uses to Ron Rahav I'm an IT manager from this printer (HL-5370) and much like its predecessor (HL-5250), our company has about 25 printers . We had very few mechanical problems in recent years. If you download the printer driver on your website [...] then you can get a very small driver that installs anything else, just the basic driver - No bloatware. For ordinary users / casual, the printer driver and are easy to configure. However, TechnoGeeks like me, you can also manage printers via a Web interface / HTML and BRAdmin software with which you can configure the printer to send e-mail alerts for various events such as "drum near the end of life" or "toner low" These printer official life is 100,000 pages. After that, the merger must be replaced at a cost of 60% -80% of a new printer. However, the printer can continue to use beyond the 100,000 page mark. The printer in my office, has already surpassed the 100,000 BROTHER tech and works perfectly. Support is terrible, so it's a good thing, these printers are more reliable than most. 11 of 11 people found this review helpful. Brother HL-5370DWT T. Dawson printer This printer is a bargain for the price. The printing speed is OK, a bit slow to warm up in order. The print quality is excellent. The duplex function and the ability to hold a full Reem of paper is beautiful. Set up a network printer has to be difficult. I've tried the wire in place and it was impossible. To be fair, it is possible that our wireless SSID broadcast as a security measure. Given up the printer over a wireless network connection and went to a cable connection. We had to do, but I finally managed to get it on the network. For instructions on connecting to the network were at best poor. This is a loud printer. All 23 customer reviews ....

The best customer feedback 684 of 688 people found the following review helpful. Final review of the extraordinary review Brother HL-2270DW techdad The track is immensely popular in the HL-2170W. The 2170W is popular for its incredible value and print quality. It was also very popular because of a trick to get toner to print more pages of toner, even when the printer says toner needs replacing. The great success of the wireless setup was difficult and 2170W is capable of using a network connection at a time - The Ethernet or Wi-Fi 2270DW adds automatic duplex printing, and also improves performance. Advantages: - Fast, fast, fast - Great print quality - three connection options, including WiFi - Automatic Duplex Unit - Supports Windows XP/2000/Vista/7, Mac OS X and various Linux distributions - Good search - great value CONS: - Starter Toner at just under 700 pages rated - slight curvature for two-sided printing - Use different and more expensive than 2170W Toner - limited to WiFi 80211b / g, if I to a printer NEC laser, scanner, generic have used, and Epson photo printers, while on my desk. Although I am old and consolidated as a multi-function printers and the last 3 printers that I owned were all color inkjet multifunction am. The advantages are manifold, but the only drawback was more important. The cost per page for ink jet printing has become huge, even when printing black and white. Many color inkjet printer with color ink even when printing in black and white, to remind you to not only the black ink cartridge can be replaced, but some of the colors as well. For me, magenta and yellow are often missed, even if we never printed in black and white that I had finally had enough and sought a solution. As recently as three weeks ago, I was able to buy the 2170W for my parents for a great price and I would like to have one myself, but have been sold out or had a price increase. Then I discovered that they were abandoned and the 2270DW is the latest model. I pressed the trigger and have not looked back. 2270DW 2170W vs. The difference between the old and the new 2170W 2270DW is not limited only to change the body color. Considering that the base MSRP is the same, the 2270DW is an outstanding bargain. The 2270DW is slightly faster at 27 ppm vs. 22 ppm for the 2170W. The 2270DW also uses a 200MHz processor, 181MHz CPU against old. The dimensions are identical, except that the 2270DW is an inch taller and weigh a pound more nearly reached. I guess the automatic duplex unit is responsible for the slightly larger brother also decided to get cheap and included a starter toner cartridge rated at just 700 pages, while the 2170W was 1000 pages or two pages and pages of paper. The 2270DW also adds GDI printing install toner and drum are preinstalled, but must be removed and preparation (agitation) before use. I found the quick start guide to be very clear and useful for the three connection methods. Wi-Fi setup is still a bit cheesy, but it's pretty easy I think. (USB) USB Setup was a breeze. Install the drivers from the CD or downloaded from the Brother website and then connect the USB cable (not included) to your computer and you're good to go. (Ethernet) If the wireless printer is nice to have, I prefer to use the Ethernet connection to connect the printer directly to my wireless router. This makes me continue to print wirelessly from my laptop and a hard turn on my desktop. I do not play with the wireless settings and have a stronger and more reliable connection via my router using the Setup Wizard, I opted for Peer-to-peer network printer that I print through the network type preference, and was occasionally run. I did the same setup on my laptop via WiFi and perfectly installed. A note, I could not easily find the MAC address of the Ethernet port, so I disabled the MAC filtering on my router temporarily. If you are not using.

This is my first Brother purchase. I use it to print full color brochures (graphics, images and text). So far it has been more than enough when you use the right paper for example, glossy paper. When printing on plain paper, colors are not as sharp, images are not so clear. For photos, the quality of the resolution acceptable / good, but there is a considerable difference in quality from a printing printer and a heavy (you know the 5 foot jumbo-jet printers). With regard to print speed, from start to finish prints at a speed higher than average. The spooling process is quick (less than 2 minutes) to a print job 80 MB. E 'printed 60 pages, color (vivid mode), double-sided book in about 8-10 minutes. PROS - printer setup and easy access (less than 5 minutes). - Print speed of Good (automatic duplex printing and right) - Excellent print quality for graphics and general text. - Good image quality when using the right card. - Noise level acceptable for a printer - replacing the toner is less expensive than HP, Lexmark and Canon. CONS - Printer Toner bed empty when full. You have to go around toner is to cover the holes with electrical tape, light black toner cartridge as a temporary solution. For a more permanent solution, it is necessary to restore the levels of the computer's printer toner. To do this: 1) Open the door 2 printers), Holding Back and Cancel buttons at the same time 3) A menu to reset the toner is 4) You hit Ok to reset. - I printed about 900 pages in color with the "starter" cartridges came and some cartridges are already visibly low. While the prints were on the high color (light) settings, it is a shame that this printer seems to be another "pig toner" and not have to print the page 3000/1500 estimates claim cartridges - photo prints are poor when Print full-size images on plain paper. To achieve best results, you need special glossy paper. - Must "general purpose" input tray for special paper jams or remove to use risk - the paper to bend very easy - the noise is too strong for office space alone. I compared the print quality Brother HL-4570CDW is intense with HPS and Canon color laser printers in this price class, and brother print print impressive looking demo than its competitors. The print quality is enough to merit buying this printer and replace because the toners are relatively cheaper than other companies in the Brother HL-4570CDW gets my recommendation. Overall I am satisfied with your purchase and recommend it if you get a reasonable price, I would not pay more than $ 400 - $ 425 for this machine is the price I paid. 45 of 45 people found this review helpful. Best midrange laser printer with paper curling problem by Ronald Epstein hope that the message that I can go out to everyone is that the printers are one of the most unreliable machine that anyone can look to buy. I have a home business and made the mistake of spending more than $ 1 kA for a few years ago, the Konica Minolta 5430DL. She was a beauty of a printer, but soon after having spent nearly $ 600 printer cartridges began to unravel. What I learned is that even the most expensive printers break. This is a technology available as something you can bequeath to their children. When all printing companies in the game of selling printers with ink cartridges limited and then charged more than the printer itself to pieces, you know that the only way forward is to buy the best bang-for-a printer money with the expectation that this will only last a few years I think is that Brother HL4570 printer type. For $ 400 I knew I was going to buy something.

Comes with full cartridges, the cartridges will not start. The color and sharpness are excellent. I have been using an HP monochrome LaserJet 1020 in recent years. there is a clear improvement in the sharpness of text. When the machine leaves the sleep mode is stronger than I expected, and was also a bit surprised first. Furthermore, it takes about 15 seconds to print first page. I have this for about $ 280 from staples and I'm happy with the price paid and the performance of this unit. I hope that many years of use, is strictly at the household level. The simple installation. This is the network of my home network, but an Ethernet cable. I have a computer running Windows 7 and the other 2 running Win XP Home. all of them on the printer on the network without any disruption. It was much easier to configure than trying to "share" a printer without networking I gave it four stars because the noise level. In all honesty, I have nothing to compare with your class. For the money paid, I think this is a better built unit than the HP 2025, which also costs more, and HP cartridges twice as much as his brother, costs, although no effect on the drum to replace the HP function is built in each cartridge, hence the price. A new drum for brother runs about $ 150, but I hope it will have to be replaced every few years or so. I can live with that! Hope this helps 42 of 42 people found the following review helpful. Highest value Laser Color By Samuel M. This stone is the color laser I've owned 4. The first two were Konica-Minolta. They were among the first affordable market (too expensive) and one of them, Magicolor 2300DL, did a good job, taking into account the technology of his time. The second and smaller, Magicolor 2400, died in a few years ago and was slowly thirds HP 2025, which is much smaller (of course much larger than the color printers inkject.) And the two-sided prints. But it takes an hour to a full page color booklet to print on both sides. Even if the base color is vivid, the speed is abysmal. So if I want 10 copies of the color image, I must go to print overnight. I'll print this drum to use to end their lives and to sell or give rise to spend more money for them. A key feature I want is from a color laser printer duplex printing. I decided to try Brother HL-4150CDN, because it was sold for $ 250 on Amazon.com (surprised to see the price rose to $ 370, after I bought). He double-sided printing and claimed to be fast. Well, it is fast, the fastest of all color printers, I have all the detainees. Although it is difficult when it is printed, you will hear only silence for a few seconds of noise and then it is perfect. A star was removed because the color is dry, unlike the release of the HP brilliant. I do not mind the color dries. The real problem is the color too dark. I tried a few adjustments to the configuration and it has improved but is still darker than the original HP or outgoing. It also means that I am consuming more toner. I, for one week, and I do not think I've printed a lot, but the yellow toner is left half of the show. I'm trying to figure out the color calibration, I've never had anything to do with my previous printers. I hope that helps. There is a toner-saving mode, I can not find how to configure it yet, but I hope that helps. Perhaps the toner saving mode that will give me a lighter color, but correct. - Update --- The yellow color showing half full, was not correct. It shows in this way when you look at the administration page from the printer browser, but the window of the digital printer has run out. I did a calibration, but it seems to be perfectly calibrated at the factory.
