I have a Mac and find a multifunction device is compatible with Mac was not easy. This device, MF4370dn, works fine with my Mac models lower MF4350d MF4150D and is not fully compatible with Mac, I could not find any reviews of this article - so all I can tell you about it. I know there are some comparable models brother out there, but I felt it swell in the power room. I have not tested but I have a Brother laser printer and makes the lights dim in my home office when ready to print. Although this model does not print duplex (print / copy on both sides of the paper MF4370dn ago ..) This device works fine with my Mac - scanning, printing, copying and receiving faxes. I originally bought the Canon MF4350d that despite all the information I read is not fully compatible with Mac, the scanner is not compatible with Macs, which was confirmed to me by talking to a Canon representative would be nice if they mentioned that the specs on your website instead of wasting hours of my time and then having to drive 70 miles to the back. (. I do not buy from Amazon, why not at the time) support told me that the Canon MF4370dn is fully compatible with Mac - just double press the Scan button on it, he is generally "USB SCAN MODE." Kay Hayes Physical properties, right out of the box, there are a few nice features to this printer - and a few not so nice. First, ADF sent up disappears when you turn it closed to make a continuous and slightly dusty surface, plus it looks sleek. Secondly, the angle of the control panel easily adjusted with a quick train the hidden trigger handle. Thirdly, there are practical indentations on the underside of the printer to pick it up and carry it (a small but sophisticated finger-saving feature). Finally, four ships with full cartridges. Printers in the past I have bought enough to test that the printer ink is made available, but that was it. After shelling out for the other fifty U.S. dollars or more on ink when you buy a printer is a bit repulsive to me. The lack of a door / lid for the memory compartment and the fact that the paper a recess for collecting dust in front, are the only two areas of need in the physical design of this printer from unpacking to a test on it to express my wireless network took about 40 minutes. By Peter Beddow had considered purchasing a laser printer in the past, but my little inkjet seemed more profitable. Now that I'm in my thesis and the need to print 20 pages + items every few days - sometimes 9 or 10 at a time - the inkjet is more useful for my purposes. I have seen this printer for very cheap at Staples and decided to go for it. I'm not sure of the actual cost, since I only had the printer for a few days. I'm still using the starter toner that came with the printer. He went through almost 250 pages of text so far. I ordered high-yield (2,500 pages) Toner Staples for $ 61 including tax. Replacing the drum seems to be about $ 100 every 12,000 pages (all four toner cartridges). However it will cost you about $ 350 every 12,000 pages or so, if the printer lasts that long. This printer is small and lightweight, and very simple when you run out of paper, gives a red error message. It adds the paper, press a single key and it works again. Start-to-print time is very fast - less than 10 seconds after flipping the switch. By Snail This printer works fairly well, the only problem I have been a few jams as the rating was based on only the printer, I would give it four stars. A good value steve_oakland HL-2140 printer is a good value. It is fast and fairly quiet while producing high quality prints. I have an HP LaserJet 1022 also, and this printer seems to make prints of comparable quality. HL-2140 is quite compact so it fits on an average desktop without too much space on the other hand, I have some problems printing some PDF files. HL-2140 is only the first page and the print queue is stopped. It's either a problem with the printer driver, or Mac OS X 10.5, how can I solve this problem by restarting my computer. It is disappointing, but I am sure I the problem, either by another driver or to get Mac OS update fixed. And for the little ones that I paid for this printer, it's not a big problem at the moment. Are also on the downside, HL-2140 with non-manual has a very robust feeding. It can not keep a stack of paper - you literally need a sheet at a time when it is printed. A "could have been perfect" color laser printer Telecom Pete The good: 1) the price - which is on sale for 299.00 in several places. A network printer at this price is a bargain. 2) The picture quality is crisp and clear. The colors are fairly accurate. 3) There were no problems installing the printer on the computer with Vista. But there are a lot of stuff (optional programs) at the facility for a typical installation can take a long time (in my case more than one hour) when I wondered why it took so much. I guess in this age of "bloatware", that can wait. The bad: The HP does not do high-performance cartridge for your printer series (here and HP Color LaserJet CP1215). Toner cartridges with high capacity is a big money saver, since they usually give you 2-3 times more pages, but usually only cost 20-25% more than standard cartridges. So unless HP comes out with high-yield toner cartridges for this printer in the future, will be stuck paying about double for the printed page, as you would if you bought a printer that can use high-yield cartridges for about $ 280.00 a set of replacement cartridges, the savings of low price of the printer can be easily overcome by higher printing costs, if you plan to do much color printing. Samsung CL-300, about the same size pritner, but I hated the color of it So if I use the CV at work, I was so surprised and happy that the color is very close to what I see on the screenshots too. Since it is a laser printer, photo scale has not seem as nice as inkjets, but still did a great job! I like the manual duplex printing. I did not understand what it meant that I tried. I've always had a problem with determining which side I presented the two-sided printing, but HP has it easier. If it prints, just put on the back of a printed paper into the tray, without over-or be executed, or something else. You simply set it in the trash the same way it comes out. The worst thing about this printer is the use of toner. The Toolbox installed in the computer, said that the black toner is more than 60%, and then after a minute it decreased by 10% ... That's less than 7 weeks and just 600 printed pages. It is believed the pressure of up to 2000 pages ... After a further pressure is the cyan toner is the same, from 60% - 10% ... The tones are cheap not excatly the fusing toner is attached to each, so I therefore believe toner is expensive. I replace my Samsung (home) with this (buy one for me) to think. Mills, I spent about a week researching for just the right multi-function printer for my needs. I own a small company with about 30 employees, so I needed more than an inkjet, but do not require a "corporate" $ 1000 + version does not. I needed to fax, scan, copy and print capability with laser printing and built-in wireless capability. Surprisingly, not many printers on the market that you can do all this in one package. Originally I wanted to Brother MFC-8870 to around 500 dollars to buy all the reviews recommend the internet, but I found this while surfing around and realized that it just a few weeks ago. Although there was no check yet for this new printer, it was much cheaper than 8870, and the only thing that seemed to be lost I was in automatic duplexing, so I bought it. It took about 15 minutes total for me to create an ad hoc wireless printer setup and everything works great scans are fine, printing is very crisp and clear even in very small print. The only thing I have not tried the fax will not be used much. I really can not say anything bad about this product. Of course, it would be nice to have a great memory plate, automatic duplexing, and 64 MB (instead of 32 MB by default) but the price can not be beaten. Overall, this seems like a really great product at an affordable price. I recommend if you need a 4-in-1 wireless capabilities. Excellent for Small Office - Ideal for envelopes Aaron SRQ I replaced my brother MFC 7420 MFC-7840 with this and I am very happy with the upgrade. It does everything I need and is small and quiet in my little office. He has a right card pass-through envelopes, which works very well. Read below for a comparison to other similar models, I had a Brother MFC-7240 for 2 or 3 years if the furnace went last week. A new fuser unit is $ 150 + 75 $ 100 to install, so to speak unnecessarily, I decided to buy one new all-in-one device. My Konica Minolta 2430 DL color laser printer was also the spirit in the same time I studied with a replacement for color laser AIO. After not having much luck finding one that could easily print envelopes, I decided to stay, with two different machines. My problem is that I printed a hundred pages, and then reported the printer was out of toner. WTF? The "starter" toner must be at least a couple thousand pages. I made the mistake of buying a new black toner cartridge. So after printing a few pages, he said the cartridge was out of toner magenta! I tried to print black! This printer has a serious problem of not knowing when or if the toner cartidges or out, or completely full of toner. After discovering this trick, I had another 1,000 pages out of the "empty" cartridge. Here is how to solve the problem (mentioned by another, but it works ... you can Google this problem and tell you to put electical tape over the sensor, but not not not work with this printer. Also almost replaced my old Epson scanner, which shows signs of aging. PROS: Incredibly easy to install. I have a Mac, and is basically plug n play like most Mac-compatible products. My operating system recognizes immediately the new hardware and prompts you to download the necessary software, which is very intuitive and easy to understand. The display board is very easy to understand and most of the commands may come from the printer without having to open any program on your computer. For example, to make a single copy of some push "Copy" and will do in seconds. Exploration, the same, but it will automatically open the right program for you after you press the "scan" ... it works in reverse too, so you can always open the program manually. There seems to be a fantastic price-performance is always a 3-in-1 much I have not used the fax yet, but I think it will give the same results as the scanner and printer. Scan quality looks good. I know pretty basic scans to Web-view kind of pictures I think the most appropriate equipment for this purpose. If you blow up stuff for scanning or printing to more air plan, then this is probably not doing it for you. Scanning area is only slightly larger than letter size. Cons: As far as resolution is amazing, this printer does not necessarily know it's standard for copies of documents and to do the job and then some. If you are a printer that gives you really nice shots (something you will use specifically for photo printing) are looking for, you can also splurge and something that gives you amazing resolution. Although this printer is not bad, you're much happier with a little more splurging for DOPE solution. So this is pretty much combo I honestly do not see myself using for printing (like Word documents) as much as I copy and scan functions. But, if you have a small office or even want this for your small business, it seems that the trick for you. At this price, it seems very hard to beat. I have a lot of Canon products now, and they all stood up to her reputation. They are durable and seems to have lasted the whole time without a break. It has a simple installation, fast printing of text, and good support network with a couple of convenient scanning options, but takes up much space on your desktop, and may have some problems with Windows XP machines. The printer comes with two standard size ink cartridges (XL versions are available for reorder), a USB cable, telephone cable, and a small sample box of photo paper because I already have a fax printer, I have not looked at the fax functions. Advantages: It's a good specification for this price class. It prints about 8.5 on the scale new printer in black, and about 4 when printing in black. It does not take long for HP inkjet print as some that I've owned - the press will start and finish very quickly. The document feeder will hold about 15 pages or so. The paper path is straight through in that it is quite easy to print on photo paper and Avery because of the smooth paper path. The printer is designed so that input and output trays are very steep angle, so you do not take up much space. The printer has a nice feature where you can press a button and scan a given PC on your home network. The file then goes to a folder on your computer for later use this function works with the ADF or the flatbed scanner, you can easily scan multiple pages. It's a great time.

Steps ahead of other multifunction laser printer, copier, Susan After my HP laser died, our small office needs a combination of laser printer, copier, it was cheaper to maintain and very reliable. Totally unknown to me before the study: AIO or printer MFC research often appear only combos that include all four functions of printing, copying, scanning and faxing. After an extended search made bad choices, I found the online DCP, which includes three of the four functions, leaving just the fax. This difference is a line meant a lot more MFC copy speed, better quality printing and copying, and the quality is generally better in all the three functions performed. The DCP-8080DN can connect to a computer via USB and other media can be networked in a LAN, it is copied as a stand-alone (with automatic document feeder or manual feed), comes with a cartridge size toner is not appropriate (est. 15,000 pages) rather skinny start tones with other tones are available in high yield, making the cost of 1-2 cents per page, using materials in a reasonable manner. When added to the original purchase price of $ 330 of the initial cost and long term are manageable. Yes, it's a little 'big but has already proved its worth. Need to separate copier. Advantages: - workgroup printer business more cost / small world - toner cartridge is 8000 copies, which manages about $ 80 - which is a penny per page! - Excellent build quality, feels and sounds like the industrial strength materials. - High performance - 30 ppm. Relatively fast time to first page. Solid good (but not fast) on both sides. Reliable paper handling. - The network drivers are very good, very stable. We installed on XP, Vista and Windows 7, and all - print, scan - works perfectly. - Power plug the scanner works well - you can feed 50 stacks of paper and the page will scan or copy quickly. Sax I buy lots of computer and office equipment and have high standards for every item I buy. This printer has met all my expectations. Installed easily in my Apple environment. It is acceptable speed (either cold or warm start), the print is good for office use and display at a rate that is normal for laser printers. My machine is used every day, all day, and never complained (as some machines tend to do) or stuck. The build quality is good and it is not too large. The color of the case is better than most printers, and the controls are easy to understand (although they are sometimes useful guide around for this purpose). I do not like the noisy machine, as some reviewers do. Love the automatic two-sided! This function is a fundamental difference between this color laser printer and the other in the same price range Speaking of price, Amazon was the seller and I feel it is a fair price. We Aparicio our Canon MF5770 machine that had replaced about 4 years, and finally the dreaded Sucam "pending download" error. We use all the features in the machine, both in this and the MF5570 which replaced it. We are a small clinic in medical research, and the machines usually get about 50 pages on average, which is sent from a print or fax. Many days will be a little more. Fax jobs are also a couple of times a day. The new machine is a definite improvement in many ways, and a reduction in a critical (though it will be very important person). As well with this machine? - Duplex printing works well and quickly. Duplex also fax and print jobs. - Networks: Once configured, you can print this printer from anywhere, and scan from your computer or from the machine to a computer on the network. - Speed: Prints fast. - Paper: Contains lots of paper and cover you can see clearly when working with low - Size: Its about half the size of the printer to replace, and yet still faster and do more. - Scanning: The included software is very easy to use, and the ability to start scanning the machine or the computer is perfect. For only one computer connected to the device can scan, but now all computers in the clinic can scan. This is a huge time savings for us. - Sleep mode: Works well, and wake up very quickly in this mode, so you do not wait for fax or copy or print, but you still save energy.
