Printers awesome, cheap quality, good jmwoo2 Because I've had this printer for a total of 10 hours and only print the pages 5-6 so far, but it's awesome! Settings on my Mac was a breeze. Connect the printer to the network and immediately got a DHCP IP. Then tried to use PCL as standard with a standard JetDirect port on my Mac OSX 10.6 .. but no .. seems to print a single page, the printer will print only a blank page ... and then another .. and then .. will not stop: P. Ohwell .. After loading the appropriate drivers, the Mac is very well to the printer via Bonjour and automatically configured as a printer and a scanner (Whoo hoo). UPS: - Fast print - wakes from sleep it about 20 seconds until the first side (damn decent for a printer under $ 200) get - energy savings - into a deep sleep, it consumes less than one watt - Solid driver / software, you can not get in the way of not. mac at least (not sure on windows) - Painless duplex - printing without a computer - super light (25 £?) and small footprint - toner cartridges do not cost an arm and a leg - a key on the printer, the current print job has completed ( and actually works .. Unlike some Lexmark and HP printer, I hit cancel orders that have not started yet .. ugh.) The Downs: - ADF can not scan double-sided ... But somehow expected, though .. You can tell a pile of (unilateral) Scan and duplex document printing - Scanner lid appears to be spring loaded, so be careful when using the flatbed scanner to close - The cover of the scanner only opens 45 degrees ( not 90 degrees.. Perhaps this is normal .. but my Xerox copier goes all the way up .. ohwell) getting the printer to work in Linux (Ubuntu 11.04) was a bit painful - had copper and LPR drivers Installing from the website .. but it is decent document on the Brother's website, so check it out (Hint: Even if Ubuntu "command" of the 7045 driver, no use .. .. 7065dn by 7045 will only send printer and then the printer will just go to sleep without writing anything). So even with all the things I do not like the printer, I still recommend the printer, given the price and how many functions brother is in this model. I would totally recommend this printer to anyone in need b / w network printer. EDIT: The printer does not appear to 7/31/2011-- AirPrint (yet) support, so those of you who want to print directly from your iPhone covers / / iwhatever. sorry - it will not work outside the box .. you probably need a print server. I'll probably try this out on a copy of DD-WRT. I also tried to iPrint Brother & scanning app on my iPhone, but it does not work with this printer .. ohwell. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful. I can not believe that there are no comments for this printer! For sl0ttedpig As the title suggests, I can not believe that there are no comments for this printer, good or bad. I drank coolaid HP for many years. I do not print much to be honest with you, but I've always thought that a color was something that everyone should have at home. I have about 4 HP multifunction printers through the years, and my last was the worst of the ink. Not only was there 6 cartridges, but also print in black ink resulted in a decrease in color! Because of the frequent use of the printer, my ink also "end", so I had to replace all this with the fact that when I bought new ink, most of the time the ink cartridges (which were small at first) , arrived only half full! OK, so I have not come here to read my problems with HP, but I think many people can identify with! So, looking for another printer, I tried the following: - scanners - printers (laser) - Networking (Wireless o.
