Most Helpful Customer Reviews 160 of 170 people found the following review helpful. Nice with some Cava. Easy to install. Easy to use (mostly). Kay Hayes Physical properties, right out of the box, there are a few nice features to this printer - and a few not so nice. First, ADF sent up disappears when you turn it closed to make a continuous and slightly dusty surface, plus it looks sleek. Secondly, the angle of the control panel easily adjusted with a quick train the hidden trigger handle. Thirdly, there are practical indentations on the underside of the printer to pick it up and carry it (a small but sophisticated finger-saving feature). Finally, four ships with full cartridges. Printers in the past I have bought enough to test that the printer ink is made available, but that was it. After shelling out for the other fifty U.S. dollars or more on ink when you buy a printer is a bit repulsive to me. The lack of a door / lid for the memory compartment and the fact that the paper a recess for collecting dust in front, are the only two areas of need in the physical design of this printer from unpacking to a test on it to express my wireless network took about 40 minutes. The process including installation and paint (which takes a few minutes), install the drivers, USB port (to configure the wireless connection speed up - but you can use the keyboard printer to use if you prefer), and Then wireless connection. Wireless connection was easy, at first I was worried how to protect my network era. All I had to do was confirm my SSID. Because I install from a laptop using the same network, the software made for obtaining all necessary information from the PC. I do not have a WEP key to enter. Bonus software Bonus software for photo editing and scanning, as well as updating the drivers, took about 30 minutes. Registration is fast because the software filled in many of the themes, such as name, email, state, zip, serial number of the printer (not sure what I think about where / how it was my personal details, because I have no other Epson products) Of note, the failed first attempt to the driver via wireless connection to work. I had to connect USB cable and then update. Then, when I next morning, the scanner is not detected by the computer, so I have the driver update program again and, for the second time, found the updated drivers for your printer and scanner. There was also a warning this time frame to install the printer driver first. After installing the printer driver, reboot, then install the scanner driver was so good. Paper was the second plant well above the wireless connection. My guess is that the first failed attempt causes the scanner driver be installed first. Overall this is a fast printer and scanner. The hot spot of the scanner is very short this short warm-up phase allows the printer to turn the bulb, shortly after the scan in competition, which saves energy. Scanning documents using the ADF worked perfectly. Scan to PDF color took a few minutes per side, including file conversion. Printing of pages of Word documents was rapid relief in color and black and white. Make a color copy of the default setting for video quality with the ADF took about 26 seconds, including the scanner to warm up. Photo print speed and quality was good for a multifunction device, was very good. The scanner software is simple and lacks some of the features of my Canon MP830, such as the ability to scan multiple photos at once in several files. Jpg (created essentially a single pass of the scanner several photos). Photo printing software is very easy to use and very easy. There are not many editing and positioning, color correction and adding a frame.
