Reliable printer ink Paxxy slowly sips ** Update: (June 30, 2011) After using the printer for a couple months, I lower the rating of four stars. I'm still pleased with the consumption and quality of printing, but the trays are terrible engineering. It is annoying to add paper or change the font in tabloid size. A lot of jams and a few jams. Wireless scanning software is not intuitive and it works sometimes but not always. I did some serious research on all beings-in-before you buy it. I hope this helps: I felt burned by previous HPS and Epson's because of the cost of ink cartridges and the frequency or replacement, and I was determined to find an affordable printer. . . That is all. The good: very economical, one of the most economical all-in-one inkjet printers available based on extensive research of wireless printing wireless scanning works great works great and prints 11x17 print scan areas reliably and rapidly improving: had a few small files I've learned to the paper just right is a little awkward because you load the whole thing to remove the charge. limited opportunities for the print quality settings I compare printers based primarily on the production of ink cost / page. Some of the best artists are on the bottom of this investigation. My research showed that any brand printer ink cartridges that are much more economical than others of the same brand. Cartridge brother is the best value (for all-in-ones), the LC or LC 65-79. HP cartridge is the best value of the HP940XL. 127 is Epson, Lexmark is the 105XL / 100XL, the Canon PGI-7 / PGI-9. MFCJ6510DW brother I chose them because the cost per page for the Brother LC79 ink cartridge was one of the best ($ 0333 per page Avg.) And the LC79 cartridges are very large, so do not require replacement as often. (2400 pages black, 1,200 colors). Compare that with my old Epson CX9400FAX. ($ 0.0595 per page Avg., 370 pages 500 black and white and color pages with the Epson cartridge 68) My old HP was worse. Read this article: [...] I was a little skeptical because I had never bought a brother. It is not as good as HP or Epson develops, but it's looking OK. I can print it (and scanning) 11x17. Wireless printing was easy to install and it works great. You can even scan and send wireless scans your computer. (Employees the first time). The only problem I had with him a couple of minor congestion, but I've learned you have to insert the paper tray, and it has just happened is not there. The paper tray is a little uncomfortable because you have the whole thing on paper to add (and old full-size machines) I've had it for about a month and has a 2 "thick stack of 8.5x11 color prints (to remove approximately 30 % coverage) at the highest setting and still not run out of ink from the original (non-high-yield) cartridges. I have not tried many of the other except funstions scan and print, but I will again ... - e email if anything comes up the results of the cartridge (figures based on average page yield versus cost between ink color and monochrome) HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-In-One Printer - A910g cartridges: HP 940 avg $ 0.0315 per MFC-6890CDW Brother Cartridges page: LC65 avg $ 0.0322 per page Cartridges Brother MFC-6490CW: LC65 avg $ 0.0322 per page Brother MFC-5895cw cartridges LC65 avg $ 0.0322 per MFC J6710DW Page Brother cartridges LC79 average $ 0.0333 per page Brother MFC J6510DW cartridges LC79 avg $ 0.0333 per page Platinum Pro905 Lexmark cartridges 105XL / 100XL avg $ 0.0 0432 PINNACLE Lexmark patroner per side Pro901: 105XL / 100XL 0432 $ avg per side Epson Workforce 840 Wireless Inkjet All-in-One med fax (C11CA97201) patroner: 127 avg ,0438 $ per side Epson Workforce 635 All-in-One printer patroner : 127 avg ,0438 $ per side Epson Workforce 630 All-in-One printer patroner: 127 avg ,0438 $ per side Epson Stylus NX625 All-in-One.
