This printer beats them all for three reasons: 1. Fast. When printing hit the first page from the printer in less than 7 seconds. That's fast! 2. Quiet. You will hear the printer during printing, but when it is ready or in standby mode, it's quiet. If it does not stop. She sits next to me and I did not notice. 3. Small and good looking. Compared to the older laser printers, this is a model of good design. Compact sits in the corner out of the way, but ready to serve with the touch of a P or Ctrl key on the printer. 4. Perfection duplex. First, seeing the printer spat out a piece of paper and then breathe on the other side print is really cool. It is fun to watch. Second, both sides printed perfectly. 5. Networking capabilities of the printer was found without any problem with my Windows machine and 7 on my Mac works exactly. 6. Crisp text. We buy because we want a laser light text. Expensive toner Grooms MD I once owned a LaserJet 6L which had a reliable printer in its day. Since then I have bought several color printers from other manufacturers. I went back to HP for their reliability. This printer prints documents quickly, particularly with the built-in duplex. Can I send a print job and the first page (one side) is out of the printer in two seconds. The disadvantage is the cost of toner. Normally, I set the print density from 5 to 2, which is located on the light using the Econo mode saves toner, but the text is difficult to read in low light, so I rarely use that mode. Jackson Disclaimer: I just bought this printer. I have only printed about 300 pages of it. I bought this printer to replace an old HP Laserjet 4P. First thoughts: WOW! This thing is super fast, duplexing is fantastic. The text is clear and clean. It is easy to print, and has an economy mode (although I have not tested yet). I can not say enough about how fast and easy this printer. I cued a 300-page user service I had in PDF format. It was all printed and ready to read for 5 minutes. One of the nicest features is that it is completely quiet and low-power mode when not in use: you can not turn it on, it detects when you want to print, turns around, prints, and then turns itself off.
