Some plants (or models in this case) is excellent, while some cultures are very bad. I do not know what is, but it is my experience. And when producers discovered that a particular culture is a damn good performance for the price to stop it quickly and upgrade (?) Beside your product model number and the new model is not so good. Why are old and the new electronics forever apparently can not wait to commit suicide? As Creative Design Director, I had the pleasure of owning and using many different colors laser products. Starting about two years from Lexmark, Brother and, of course, a 4 HP. Lexmark has always been too dark, the developer has no long, drawn banding, corrugated cardboard and high. Brother broke too quickly. HP was pretty good but over the years, I am sorry to say that the quality went down drastically, the plastic was thinner toner does not last long, part pep, were color washed out, so I stayed behind with the help of disposable ink jet printers (most of them now) who was thrown out when the ink dries. Until I ordered Samsung CLP 620ND. OMG. This thing is on the large side, but oh, man. This printer rocks. I have never a color laser printer with a consistently rock-solid color (literally, solid colors as solid colors, no bleach, no stripes), fast (the first print in 10 seconds, even with full coverage), good paper handling, (for I all cases. The general form of a cube, without trays or panels that protrude above the basic cube shape, leaving very slick) pretty quiet and aesthetically. The overall build quality is very solid too. And for the price, this is the Samsung CLP-620 a keeper. I bought this for $ 206, cheaper than buying a set of tones. In my line of work, speed and color accuracy is critical, especially for presentations to clients, this printer offers!
