Brother MFC This color is a fair choice if you are looking for a wired or wireless high-speed network-like laser color printer, copier, scanner and fax all-in-one, but you do not duplex (two sides) / Fax / Scan. Personally, almost everything duplex to save paper, and thus prefer the Brother MFC-9840CDW Color Laser Multifunction Center with Wireless Interface and Duplex, which is a small price increase on this. (You can manually duplex printing with the MFC-9320CW odd pages, with tray and placing in the paper tray and print the even-numbered pages. But just wanted a jam ruin this process.) ) I have many complaints about the machine and the software that is preventing me from making it more than three stars Note that the laser-class printers is not a substitute for photo printers. Do not expect photo-quality color (or even a very wide range of colors) or the ability to print on photo paper. It's not what this class of products intended. If your picture quality is expected to make inkjet printers. (The scanner's image quality of this device, though.) My ratings are based on reasonable expectations of what a color laser printer will do: spot color, color images, text and graphics documents, a reasonable color copies ... . and all water, due to the melting tones. Both wired and wireless network worked well, even if the instructions for the wireless setup was written by and for a geek, so if you're not a techie, you probably have a technical friend to help if your wireless network is secured with hidden SID and password. It's really annoying that the machine prints sheets of paper when you change the configuration of the network, a cable and with a wireless setup to be a user option. The printer comes with four toner cartridges, each good for about 1,000 pages in accordance with the instructions. However, there is some kind of bug in the firmware or software. After printing only a handful of pages, both the device and the software monitor reported that the Cyan cartridge was almost empty. The color bar charts showed that it was empty. However, the control panel for printer cartridges based web was all full. The only way to get rid of the messages of cyan vacuum everywhere was to turn off the MFC and back. Install the software on another computer on the network that the message came back - this time saying that both cyan and yellow were empty. Update firmware version delivered "A" to download the current version "C" seems to have solved this problem. The print quality is very good, but needs adjustments for the printing of photos I printed the PDF manual for the software, the screenshots included in different colors. It seems very well advertised and printed about 17 ppm the rate. Nice. Even if it is not a photo printer, the photos are part of what will be printed on a color laser printer - via newsletters, brochures and Housing, business cards, etc. So I did what I had the best results seen from the calibrated color image source. All are printed with photos is actually in the resolution of 600 X 2400 for more information. (600 x 600 is for most other documents in order.) The white foam of the cascade in a test image blurred together at just 600 x 600 resolution. 600 x 600 LED on the printer is not as crisp 600 x 600 on a laser I found that require printing photos with vivid color option, and with increased brightness. Although a color wheel as well, leading the calibration image with different faces of skin tones, color swatches and skin tones that looked sepia, despite a second color image
