Client more useful, 300 of 312 people found this review helpful. My experience with Canon MF4370dn David, I bought this about a week ago and have used it ever since. I have a Mac and find a multifunction device is compatible with Mac was not easy. This device, MF4370dn, works fine with my Mac models lower MF4350d MF4150D and is not fully compatible with Mac, I could not find any reviews of this article - so all I can tell you about it. I know there are some comparable models brother out there, but I felt it swell in the power room. I have not tested but I have a Brother laser printer and makes the lights dim in my home office when ready to print. Although this model does not print duplex (print / copy on both sides of the paper MF4370dn ago ..) This device works fine with my Mac - scanning, printing, copying and receiving faxes. I originally bought the Canon MF4350d that despite all the information I read is not fully compatible with Mac, the scanner is not compatible with Macs, which was confirmed to me by talking to a Canon representative would be nice if they mentioned that the specs on your website instead of wasting hours of my time and then having to drive 70 miles to the back. (. I do not buy from Amazon, why not at the time) support told me that the Canon MF4370dn is fully compatible with Mac - just double press the Scan button on it, he is generally "USB SCAN MODE." I am very happy with this unit. The print quality is great, the speed and fax quality is much faster than my old thermal fax. The copier works well. The scan quality of the glass is great. The duplex feature works great. Unit is very, very quiet - in fact I can not hear when it is running or sleeping. Now I can finally get rid of three major units - my fax, laser printer and scanner, and to replace it. Cons: 1) No software included with this device that allows you to create a single PDF from the ADF, so if I wanted to learn 10 pages of the magazine and to create a single PDF file, can not do. It would create 10 different documents in the scanner, then you would save each as a PDF file and use another program to create a single PDF. After hours of searching, I found Acrobat Professional to create a single PDF directly from the ADF. Acrobat Professional is a program dear to $ 449, which is available for Mac Sometimes I have it and used it successfully to create a multipage PDF file. Acrobat Professional, go to File> Create PDF> From Scanner. It worked great. But in reality a type of software should be provided by Canon that can do it. Most people do not have Acrobat Professional, and certainly will not buy a $ 450 program just to be able to use a $ 300 device. I know that some scanning software that comes with the unit, but is for Windows (not sure what you can do) 2) ADF is also giving me some problems - is to scan letter-size pages as the legal size. So is all white area at the bottom of my analysis. Canon will have something to talk about how to fix, if possible. 3) My phone number of times in my home fax line and phone line running from the wall to the unit - and then my phone. Whenever I use my cell phone to make a call - the MF4370dn lights and flashes "Data Processing" and a green light on the side of the unit will flash as well. It continues throughout the call. Now, when talking on the phone that I got to see flashes of light in my periphery. Nuisance and a waste of energy if you ask me. 4) Instructions for using the scanner was not very clear. I installed what I thought was an exploration program on a CD that comes with the device. After installation of the hadith I have spent ages looking for scanning software I have just installed is shown that there is no application, but what you really.
