Comes with full cartridges, the cartridges will not start. The color and sharpness are excellent. I have been using an HP monochrome LaserJet 1020 in recent years. there is a clear improvement in the sharpness of text. When the machine leaves the sleep mode is stronger than I expected, and was also a bit surprised first. Furthermore, it takes about 15 seconds to print first page. I have this for about $ 280 from staples and I'm happy with the price paid and the performance of this unit. I hope that many years of use, is strictly at the household level. The simple installation. This is the network of my home network, but an Ethernet cable. I have a computer running Windows 7 and the other 2 running Win XP Home. all of them on the printer on the network without any disruption. It was much easier to configure than trying to "share" a printer without networking I gave it four stars because the noise level. In all honesty, I have nothing to compare with your class. For the money paid, I think this is a better built unit than the HP 2025, which also costs more, and HP cartridges twice as much as his brother, costs, although no effect on the drum to replace the HP function is built in each cartridge, hence the price. A new drum for brother runs about $ 150, but I hope it will have to be replaced every few years or so. I can live with that! Hope this helps 42 of 42 people found the following review helpful. Highest value Laser Color By Samuel M. This stone is the color laser I've owned 4. The first two were Konica-Minolta. They were among the first affordable market (too expensive) and one of them, Magicolor 2300DL, did a good job, taking into account the technology of his time. The second and smaller, Magicolor 2400, died in a few years ago and was slowly thirds HP 2025, which is much smaller (of course much larger than the color printers inkject.) And the two-sided prints. But it takes an hour to a full page color booklet to print on both sides. Even if the base color is vivid, the speed is abysmal. So if I want 10 copies of the color image, I must go to print overnight. I'll print this drum to use to end their lives and to sell or give rise to spend more money for them. A key feature I want is from a color laser printer duplex printing. I decided to try Brother HL-4150CDN, because it was sold for $ 250 on Amazon.com (surprised to see the price rose to $ 370, after I bought). He double-sided printing and claimed to be fast. Well, it is fast, the fastest of all color printers, I have all the detainees. Although it is difficult when it is printed, you will hear only silence for a few seconds of noise and then it is perfect. A star was removed because the color is dry, unlike the release of the HP brilliant. I do not mind the color dries. The real problem is the color too dark. I tried a few adjustments to the configuration and it has improved but is still darker than the original HP or outgoing. It also means that I am consuming more toner. I, for one week, and I do not think I've printed a lot, but the yellow toner is left half of the show. I'm trying to figure out the color calibration, I've never had anything to do with my previous printers. I hope that helps. There is a toner-saving mode, I can not find how to configure it yet, but I hope that helps. Perhaps the toner saving mode that will give me a lighter color, but correct. - Update --- The yellow color showing half full, was not correct. It shows in this way when you look at the administration page from the printer browser, but the window of the digital printer has run out. I did a calibration, but it seems to be perfectly calibrated at the factory.
