Comes with full cartridges, the cartridges will not start. The color and sharpness are excellent. I have been using an HP monochrome LaserJet 1020 in recent years. there is a clear improvement in the sharpness of text. When the machine leaves the sleep mode is stronger than I expected, and was also a bit surprised first. Furthermore, it takes about 15 seconds to print first page. I have this for about $ 280 from staples and I'm happy with the price paid and the performance of this unit. I hope that many years of use, is strictly at the household level.
