When I discovered that the brother with this new printer with a production capacity of MF 11 x 17, I tried to buy one because I often print / fax / copier floor plans were. Then, when I discovered that it is below $ 300 on Amazon, I immediately bought and gave my old printer to a friend MF. I was not disappointed. It was easy to configure and work in a few minutes. The cycle of heating at the beginning of a print job is a little slow, but fairly typical for this type of machine. I have no complaints. The ability / fax / copier / print receiving 11 x 17 drawings is impressive. I expected that this would disadvantage of the cost of printer ink cartridges. Wrong again! Ink cartridges in black and color, relatively inexpensive and available in XL and XXL capacity One last thing. This is not a photo printer. Color printing is sharp and acceptable for most business applications, but do not expect you to print photos. This is a great, cost-effective business printers. As a state authority, we have moved away from any inkjet printer. The laser gives us a better quality and much lower cost of consumables. Still, I hopped on this particular scanner. We often have larger items such as a legal and a dedicated flatbed scanner with a 11x17 bed scanning is still a very expensive product. Although I could not recommend to anyone who will need this scanner, high quality scans, it's a great job for the price. I do not think so faint praise, since most scanners of this size can run $ 1000 or more, even much larger items can be scanned and put together, so very few things are out of reach. The power supply is another great feature and a real improvement over a comparable price. I print almost anything, do not use it as a copier and fax machine is not connected at all. A alll-in-One Good Terry Ray Johnson 11x17 scanner is the main reason why I bought this machine. We can not find this size platform for the price. It's fast and scan quality is very good. The other functions in life, FAX, print and copy generous and drawers are the icing on the cake. 11x17 photos are excellent, even when their source is very low resolution. Brother support has been timely, well trained and have found my "operator" problems immediately .. no problem with the current hardware. I am very pleased with this product.
