By bilagaana I really have no complaints about print quality or configuration of the wireless feature, which is a great convenience in a home network. The reason for this printer is going to recycling companies, the cost of operation of the decision by HP cartridges consumers on replacement cartridges Beitel. If you look at the price per cartridge replacement does not sound unreasonable: about thirty dollars for the black ink cartridge and twenty dollars for the three color cartridges. But what you should be aware that the printer when the cartridges have to be decided and will not work until you meet. This is a change from a few years ago when you would get a low ink level, but can still be printed before the cartridge is actually empty. This disabling all the functions of printing is becoming a standard industry practice, but in my experience, is particularly noticeable in this HP printer is no accident that all four cartridges are marked to be replaced at about the same time. Even if you only print copies of the project in black and white in the interval since the replacement, the color cartridges are marked as empty after a few months. When this happens at least twice a year, you'll spend close to $ 200 per year for the function to minimize. After literally only a few months, using the "high capacity" XL cartridges and use extremely rare (I seldom more than a dozen pages per month), this printer is off again due to a whole fictieve ink warning . This function is not clearly caused by the actual use, the number of pages or the volume of ink remaining. It is based entirely on an arbitrary time algortithm combine and install cartridge and HP greed again: software resides determines when you change cartridges (of which there are four), nor print any single side until done. If you print enough pages in both monochrome and color, and leakage of cartridges in a short time, you might consider this printer a good price. Read many of the four and five star reviews gently: "I have had this printer a month and I love it," "I had one day ...", etc. I'm happy for them, but I've had this printer for fifteen months, and I switch. This will be my last HP printer. UPDATE: I received (18/11/2010) notice of a settlement offer in response to three lawsuits against HP alleged fraud related to the topics mentioned above. Quote: "HP denies all these allegations," but that offer coupons are redeemable on HP's online store (only) as compensation. One can therefore assume that they want to continue this practice an HP offensive over six U.S. dollars credit for qualified printers offer. I use it as a replacement for my old Canon Pixma 3000, which only gave up the ghost. If you have any other reviews that talk about a 30 minutes set up time to read, not as a sign of problems or potential inability of the critic ... This device creates a self-diagnosis 20-30, as part of the setup process. The images are clean and bright. And HP has finally notice the creation of separate ink carts for each color instead of throwing them out when you have a single color. What I like: - The wireless capabilities. Can print from any PC in the house on this one. - Individual ink cartridges - two-sided printing - HP has already sent you, ready to use model - such as fast printing software for double-sided printing, photo printing, etc. - tools that allow you to see what 's ink usage will be. - According to the HP website, low cost per page print ..
